Lonely

Acrylic on canvas & wire, 60 x 40 cm, £600

NO answer from you

The loneliness of the soul. The desire to be seen and heard—to break the boundaries of social stigma. Dementia and aging isolate, stigmatize, and damage human essence. The lonely wire is the focal point of this work. All attention is cast upon it. It is not grounded, but floats in the vacuum of space. The feeling of loneliness is overwhelming and haunting. The wire wraps around it, protecting it from the dangers of society’s judgment and expectations.
