Confluence

Forged & fabricated steel, 26' 6" x 9' x 18' 6"

This sculpture’s title and form were inspired by my interpretation of the Middle Tennessee landscape where I grew up. Designed for a plaza in a new residential/commercial development near the State Capital Building in Nashville, Confluence has a towering presence in a greenspace setting between elegant new residential buildings and a historic printing factory that’s been converted to restaurant and event spaces.
