Return of the Mask Man

This piece is the first time I used a photo transfer on clay of myself in a mask. The original photo was shot in Los Angeles as part of a photo-performance series with photographer Wendy F. Lang in the 70’s. Here, the masked figure crouches in a silver torrent within a variegated ceramic forest.
