Hollywood Jazz 1945-1972 (1987)
Located in the parking lot of Capitol Records, this mural depicts a host of jazz legends. From left to right: Chet Baker, Gerry Mulligan, Charlie (Bird) Parker, Tito Puente, Miles Davis, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, Shelly Manne, Dizzy Gillespie, Billie Holiday, and Duke Ellington. In the background is the iconic circular headquarters of Capitol Records, founded in 1942 as the first West Coast America record label of note.
