Double Sheet Dress

Bed Sheets, Model: Marah

This dress is made from two bed sheets purchased from used-merchandise store Emmaus: yellow and blue. The yellow sheet forms a short, tight dress, while the floor-length blue sheets start at the bodice and attach at the sides. Wing-like in appearance, they reminded me of freedom. I especially wanted Marah—a strong, confident woman—to model this outfit, the wings flying her to freedom.
