Symphony

Acrylic on sheep wool sofreh kilim, 170 x 110 cm, £2800

The sofreh I choose to paint on are very old, some more than 100 years. When I find the courage to paint on them, I try to follow the woven patterns, and choose the right color and area to place my shape. Like a symphony, I wanted to create an artwork where the different components come together in perfect harmony.
