Seriema Pot
The seriema is one of the largest common birds native to Xakriabá territory. Its song can be heard from over a kilometer away. It feeds on snakes and small animals, such as lizards and mice. It was frequently a source of food in the past, especially in times of scarcity. The siriema plays an important role in controlling venomous animals, making our walks through the forest safer.
The glaze was extracted from white and grey toá, a very light mineral.
