Resurgent Memory
The background sets the tone for what’s to come. While clearing out the garage, I found an old acrylic painting that actually resembled a collage. It became the perfect background for this piece. A search through my ‘image library’ brought up several possibilities. Sometimes I have a specific plan in my head. Sometimes I just have a vague idea. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn’t. Here the colorful corner of a painted ‘frame’ draws your eye to a silhouetted machine worker (I like repeating him). Created ephemera fills the lower right-hand corner.
