Driving to Houston, Texas after photographing the dresses in Galvaston, Texas I saw a sign for a Prairie Chicken Refuge. I pulled in. There were lots of areas surrounded by barred wire. The weather was moving fast, a storm was coming in. I captured the drama just before the rain poured down.
