The Boundary Line

Oil on gallery wrapped canvas, 18” x 24”, Artist’s Collection

The Boundary Line portrays a mother wolf and her two pups. The rifle is used to hunt wolves. In the background, a wolf pack walks through the snow and a plane hunts them. What inspired this painting is the invisible line that borders Denali National Park in Alaska. It delineates a safe place for wolves; but if they cross it, they can be killed without a permit. A boundary line also implies limits that can be applied to relationships, everyday actions, and respecting others.
