Sisters of Charity

Oil on gallery wrapped canvas, 24” x 36”, 4,000 USD

In Sisters of Charity, a nun is busy regarding what is in her hands while the other sister gazes at her. They seem totally oblivious to what is happening around them. Running from the scene, a horse has gravely injured a woman who lies, bleeding, on the beach. The picture frames capture moments in time. This painting is a reflection of today's society. People are too distracted to pay attention to their surroundings, and to notice or assist others in need.
