Prisionera

Oil on gallery wrapped canvas, 14” x 18”, Artist’s Collection

Prisionera describes the isolation that many experienced during the COVID-19 pandemic, especially those of us who live alone. The figure, encased in a glass Japanese fishing float, has washed up on an Alaskan beach. Even though she is surrounded by beauty, she is unable to escape from her small world.
