Installation, Horsell Common

Repetition Series, Aluminum resin, Each form, 50 x 50 x 30 cm, Artist’s Collection

When stacked, the aluminum pods create surreal figurative formations. They are placed in the flooded sand pits of Horsell Common, Woking, England, site of the alien life landing in HG Wells’s novel War of the Worlds

The Repetition Series reflects my interest in combining repeated abstract shapes and objects to make a whole greater than the sum of its parts. Like natural evolution, repetition can create difference as well as repetition.
