Blueprints of a Fallen Empire 4

Cyanotype, screen print ink & pigment stick on Rives BFK, 30” x 22.5”, 800 USD

This piece was approached in the same manner as ‘Blueprints of a Fallen Empire 3’ but with some drawing intervention.

Curator’s Note: A cyanotype (also known as a blue-print) refers to a printing process in which light and dark tones are reversed, and involves placing an object or photographic negative on photo-sensitized paper or cloth, and then exposing it to sunlight or an UV-lamp.
