This work reflects the COVID-19 pandemic. Pimientos, ‘red peppers,’ symbolize the sweet, bitter, and spicy side of life that still remains beautiful. Despite the pandemic, life continues to be written with our habits and desires. The hieroglyphs refer to these ongoing trials.
