In 2006 I did a series of bowls that fit inside each other. I imagined them as flowers, with the three bowls as petals, and a vase in the middle that could represent the flower’s stamen. The bowls rest on a small leaf-like pedestal. I was still committed to creating functional pots (that could be used), but also explored forms from nature. (I was also an ardent gardener at this time.)
