Resilience

The pointed rhombus-shaped designs seem to apply pressure on the egg from above. Still it holds its shape. Normally my paintings are not political. But it seemed appropriate to do this when I painted this piece for a private exhibition in Iran. When its time has come, the egg will open up. That is a time everyone is hoping for.
