Reflection

The origin of this sofreh is not Shiraz, but Nayriz, a different region in Iran’s Fars Province. Women there also wove sofreh to use while making naan bread. This piece already had a design in the middle that reminded me of an egg, so I decided to paint my egg as its reflection.
