Frank White Memorial Garden

This garden is dedicated to the memory of Frank White, a local resident shot while protecting neighborhood children. What makes this garden so unique is the tightly knit community run by the neighborhood’s elders. They are the ones who watch over the premises, making sure nobody misbehaves (adults and children alike). Run by the nonprofit Brotherhood/Sister Sol, the garden is an environmental learning center, and grows many varieties of fruits and vegetables. Frank White would be so proud.
