I live an hour away from Douglas, Wyoming (USA), “The Home of the Jackalope”—a mythical animal of North American folklore described as a jackrabbit with antelope horns. This painting exhibits a mother jackalope with her daughter out in the Wild West. The ghostly levitating rabbits are ancestor jackalopes. Their antlers are gone—an offering to their descendants.
