Playday was inspired by an actual event where ravens dropped rocks on vehicles parked at a hospital on Alaska’s Kenai Peninsula. Car owners were horrified to discover cracks in windshields and sunroofs, with the only evidence being rocks near or on their vehicles. Initially they thought vandals were responsible. However, it was discovered that the miscreants had wings. The culprits flew the coop without conviction. I depicted my favorite truck from Longmire, an American crime drama TV series.
