Eye of the Soul

‘I am the dust under the sun, yet I am the sphere of the sun.’ This line from the Masnavi of Mevlana Celaddin Rumi inspired me to weave this tapestry. The soul’s eye—like the sun— reaches everywhere. It leaves no darkness in which to hide. It looks deep inside and sees the good that lies in one’s soul.
