Attempting to comprehend the existence of the world and its meaning, mankind has attributed “holiness” to a variety of beings, objects, and places. One of the most common is “the tree,” representing immortality, luck, fertility, and health. The first depictions of the "Tree of Life" are found in ancient Mesopotamian Assyrian and Hittite seals. Abrahamic religions portray the “Tree of Life” in the Garden of Eden.
