Maa, Maeri, Okaasan, Madre, Amma, Moeder, Mamma. There are 6,500 ways to say ‘mother,’ but we still fall short of words to describe what she means to us. She’s the reason we exist. She’s the reason we aren’t afraid of the dark. She means the whole world to us. Truck owners show love for their mothers, asking artists to hand-paint the phrase Maa or Maa ka Ashirwaad in beautiful three-dimensional typography to show the world that the truck is blessed by their mother.
