In Jamaican slang, ‘raggamuffin’ is a slacker. And by extension, a marginal lifestyle, a way of being and behaving. A resourceful person who struggles, but will remain honest until the end without betraying anyone. Perhaps ‘hustler’ is the American slang equivalent.
