Austrian Backhausen Cotton, 260 x 240 cm, Private Collection

“Bars” is a typical Amish design symbolizing ploughed fields. I had scraps of Austrian Backhausen cotton fabric samples, and tried to sew them vertically with salmon color strips in between. Machine made, it was a gift for my brother Hayri Erenli.
